We have been renting cars nearly as long as we have been selling them and our clients come back to us year after year.  We cater to locals, business and tourists.  We pride ourselves on offering flexibility, and offer rentals and returns almost 365 days a year.  If you require airport pickup or drop-off as part of your rental, ask us for a quote!  We will also be happy to pick you up from your hotel or Bed and Breakfast and bring you to the garage.

Please note the following Terms and Conditions which apply to rental via Practical Car and Van Rental only, and not replacement-car hire:

• All pricing is per day, and is subject to availability.
• The minimum rental period is 24 hours (unless otherwise stated) 
• For insurance purposes, the minimum age is 28, the maximum is 70.  This may vary on some makes and models.
• All rentals include insurance, which is subject to excess, breakdown cover, mileage (subject to local limits) and VAT.
• Van rentals may be subject to an overhead roof damage excess.
• Drivers must have held their full drivers'  licences for a minimum of two years.
• Licences must be clear of endorsements.
• Deposits are required on all rentals (standard collision damage waiver €255).
• The amount of fuel in the vehicle will be noted on pick-up, it should be returned at the same level on drop off or the cost of re-fueling will be debited from the deposit.
   
• Additional drivers may be added to the rental at 25% extra cost, the same rules apply for these drivers.
• One-way rentals may be available, please ask for details.
• When reserving the vehicle, we assume that your pick up time is the same as your drop off time, unless you make it clear that this is not the case.
• Portable satellite units may be available, please mention at time of booking.
   
• Foreign Licence holders, please note:
  • We must be able to read and understand the licence presented.
  • We must be able to establish that it is valid.
  • We cannot accept and International Drivers Permit without the original under any circumstances, except in the case of European licences with the EU symbol. 
  • IDPs are intended for the purposes of translation.  The onus is on the renter to provide a translation to cover our insurance risk questions.
